"Sold” by Patricia McCormick
When I first heard about what kind of book “Sold” is, I was very hesitant about reading it. I heard it was a sad story, and I don’t usually read sad novels. The idea of an innocent 13yr old girl being forced into prostitution didn’t help with pursuing me into reading it either. But I’m REALLY glad that I decided to read this book! Yes it was sad and it made me cry, but overall, it was an amazing story. I didn’t want to put the book down!
